WEATHERALL Vineyard

Old, organic vines, nestled between our winery and the Ōpaoa River, this block provides wines with texture and history.

One of the earliest planted blocks and just across the road from the winery we lease this block and run it organically. The earliest maps we can find shows that it was originally planted in Chenin Blanc but was later top grafted to Sauvignon Blanc. One of the textural blocks for our blend and we have also now planted some Chardonnay, clone 1066, at the western end of the parcel.
